About This Spot

Stepping into Choupinette feels like slipping away to a quiet corner of France tucked right in the heart of Bukit Timah. The intimate space, softly lit and carefully arranged, invites you to slow down and savor moments that are both familiar and just a little special. With seating for around twenty guests, it’s the sort of spot where you might find locals catching up over long breakfasts or celebrating small milestones with an attentive, warm touch from the staff.

The atmosphere carries a gentle rhythm—unhurried and cozy without ever feeling staid—where the comfort of the surroundings makes way for genuine connection and thoughtful service. Here, it’s easy to imagine lingering over a cup of rich, expertly crafted espresso or a smoothly textured cappuccino, while the scent of freshly baked croissants and the subtle allure of slow-cooked French onion soup weave softly through the air.

Choupinette’s menu is like a curated collection of everyday delights, rooted in French tradition but open enough to surprise. Whether you’re drawn to the delicate balance of creamy eggs Benedict paired with crispy bacon, or the satisfying heartiness of a thoughtfully assembled Salade Niçoise served generously from the kitchen, each dish preserves that homey essence that invites you to pause and truly taste. The subtle indulgence of truffle fries or the gentle sweetness of a perfectly torched crème brûlée unfold as quiet moments of joy after a relaxed meal.

There’s a palpable sense of care throughout your visit, from the friendly exchanges at the table to the way the team anticipates your needs without fuss. It’s the kind of place where a weekday brunch turns into a peaceful retreat from the bustle of the city, and weekend gatherings feel warm and unpretentious—a haven for those who appreciate thoughtful food paired with sincere hospitality.

Whether you’re looking for a calm morning coffee, a leisurely lunch, or an intimate dinner filled with familiar flavors, Choupinette welcomes you like an old friend, with understated charm and a quiet devotion to making every moment feel just a little more special.

A cosy exquisite place with good brunch dishes. The eggs benedict was absolutely delicious and my daughter enjoyed the waffles very much!

Just had an amazing birthday celebration for my son in Choupinette. Dinner was simply delicious! Wan had done a great job in preparing for this big day. He was very proactive & gave great suggestion for this dinner celebration. In addition, Jason & his team made my family felt so welcomed during this dinner. The genuine & warm service made my son's birthday such an unforgettable one! Thank you so much Choupinette!

Choupinette is one of the, maybe, 10 restaurants serving brunch and coffee between Tan Kah Kee and Botanic Gardens MRT stations. I'd say Choupinette occupies the lower half of that list. Doesn't mean its not good. In fact I enjoyed the hominess of the seafood again olio I ordered through their 3 course lunch set. The creme brulee was light and the sugar was torched before it was brought to the table. Would love to try the pastries as i remember being in France, I devoured the best ones.

Nice place to have a quiet breakfast or brunch on a weekday away from work. Friendly and warm staff. Seats about 20 customers so maybe reservation is recommended for weekends.

Cosy French restaurant at Bukit Timah. We ordered the set meal with a side of escargot. Food was delicious overall and service was warm and attentive. They accept CDC vouchers. We had a reservation

That quaint little cafe you'd like to brunch alone with a good book. Friendly easy atmosphere, the kind of place where they remember your name if you pop it often enough. Food is comforting and well done. Duck confit, tender and saucy. Side of salad was simple but I liked the light dressing. Hearty thick onion soup but the star was definitely the lava cake! I'm so glad for their recommendation of it. I'd go back just for it. Apparently, a friend mentioned I should try their egg benny too.
